Rebel Regiment Wins

Rebel Regiment Wins Lower State
The members of the Rebel Regiment traveled White Knoll High School this past weekend to participate at South Carolina Band Directors Association 2A/4A Lower State Championships. The Rebel Regiment was named the SCBDA 2A Lower State Champion winning the High Music Performance Award in a highly competitive class with 14 other fantastic groups from around the from the region. Because of tropical storm Nester and a newly adopted inclement weather protocol the Rebel Regiment had to modify their regular competitive program to be performed as a standstill performance in a gymnasium. The students learned new staging and a host of changes to their production on Saturday morning before departing for White Knoll. We are extremely proud of the students ability to adapt to a new assessment model and a myriad of new environmental challenges. Please congratulate these students on a job well done.

The
Rebel Regiment will be traveling to Spring Valley High School in Lexington, SC on Saturday, October 26 to compete for a South Carolina Band Directors Association 2A State Championship. Our students have been working extremely hard and diligently in preparation for this, our final competitive performance of the year. We would love for you guys to joins us as we compete for a state championship. We perform at 9:15 pm and will be competing in a class with 16 other 2A bands from around the state. Tickets are $10.00 for adults, and $5.00  for students.  Lets pack the stands and cheer on our students. Thank you for your continued support.
