J-E-T Middle School Adds Seven New Teachers To Their Family

Johnston-Edgefield-Trenton Middle School (J-E-T) is proud to announce seven new members of the J-E-T family. Cassie Brueck of Gilbert, SC is beginning her teaching career at J-E-T. “Teaching has always been a dream of mine, and now I can finally live out that dream,” said Brueck. Jodi Knapp comes to J-E-T from Dudley GT Magnet Elementary in Victoria, Texas. Knapp has been working in education for 14 years in various states, teaching several different subjects. Currently, she is teaching a Gateway to Technology class. Gateway gives students a look inside the world of engineering and technology. 

Benjamin Mitchell is beginning his fourth year in education at J-E-T as an eighth grade ELA teacher. Kevin Wright has been teaching for 14 years and has joined the seventh grade team as a math teacher. Mary Zelmer begins her fifth year in education and is also joining the seventh grade team. Zelmer is teaching science. Neither Susie O’Neal nor Wendy Jacobs are strangers to the Edgefield County School district. They have served in different schools throughout the district teaching children for over 20 years in various capacities.
