Johnston-Edgefield-Trenton Middle School’s Assistant Principal Jason Schumpert hosted a special version of Let’s Make a Deal during a morning assembly on Friday, August 30. The game provided an entertaining review of the school creed, the concept of personal responsibility in developing excellence (P.R.I.D.E.) and the expectations of respect, responsibility, and readiness to learn (the three R’s).

Students who participated received prize baskets with school supplies and other “goodies.” Eighth grader Thomas Jolly won the top prize of a pizza party for four to be delivered during lunch on the day of his choice.

To conclude the assembly, the adults performed “The Git Up” dance, each adding his or her own creative steps.

J-E-T’s administration, faculty, and staff continue to promote the characteristics of world-class citizenship, as well as provide an academically enriching environment for all students.
